Camp Gan Israel for Children of the Community
Judaism is entirely based on educating the younger generation. Therefore, here at Chabad Uganda, we have taken upon ourselves the mission to provide the young generation of the Jewish community in Uganda with a variety of activities and services to imbue children with the ways of Judaism, Jewish tradition, and the Hebrew language.
Twice a year during winter and summer breaks, Chabad operates an enriching and special day camp/summer camp where children enjoy a unique experience that instills Jewish pride and Israeli tradition. Through weeks filled with games and experiences, children emerge enriched with Jewish content and energy that accompanies them for days and years. The camp takes place at Chabad House and is led by Rabbi Yochved and a team of educators and counselors from the forefront.
